Walker, Joniah
Details of DisappearanceJoniah was last seen in the area of 400 W. Brown St. Milwaukee, on foot. Please also check the tall grass at the corner at E Reservoir & N Buffum, try Beckum park & Carver park. Joniah sent her a therapist a text saying she was running away from home. She has never been heard from again.
Her mother said she was online "doing things she had no business doing." If she went with someone she met online, it's incredibly important to get a forensic computer specialist to go through any electronics she was using for information.
I'll say this. Most kids missing just 2 years are still on only NCMEC. Joniah's mother moved mountains and managed to get her on NaMus, in the news, and talked about. Bless her. |

Wells, Carol Joyce
Details of DisappearanceCarol J. Wells went missing in April of 1973 from Winnebago County, Wisconsin. She was reported missing by her brother after a few weeks of not having contact with her. I found a divorce record for Lloyd Wells from a Carol Joyce Skalecke Wells in the Oshkosh court system. Lloyd died in 2017.
Lloyd Wells lived at the house location until he died. Under construction in 1971. Real estate sale posts show a little weird patio with chairs on it outside. Wonder if the current owners would mind the police digging it up? The full basement and the garage are both mentioned in the ad, and perhaps the patio was added later. There is no permit for the patio. ActionUP12361? |

Wenzel, Jacob Thomas Scott
Details of DisappearanceMost of these details come from Jacob's mother's facebook page. I have it linked to the right.
Jacob had a drug problem and sold them, too. He sold drugs to a 16 year old who died from them. The child’s family blamed Jacob. The child's brother, Nathan, vowed revenge. Then apparently, Nathan lured Jacob into his car. They stopped at a gas station, station manager saw an argument and one person shoved in the trunk, and the car took off before they could get information. Station ownership changed, and from what I've been told Oconto police dropped the ball and didn’t get the recording which was only kept 1 year before being recorded over. Allegedly Nathan took Jacob to a farm in Adams county, where many of his family live. At least one farm was searched and the cadaver dog alerted on it, but nothing was dug up. The only reason I could think of for this is their warrant didn't allow digging. Jacob's mother assumes he was buried on one of the farms. Oconto has not interviewed anyone and doesn't return phone calls (Mother alleges three out of fifty calls got returned). Nathan is now missing or on the run. ActionsCan DCI pick this up? |

Wilberding, Ben
Details of DisappearanceOfficial statement: On May 24, 1996 Ben Wilberding disappeared from his parents' home on County Road CC in rural Tomahawk. He spoke to his sister from his home that morning, and that was the last she or anyone else heard from him. When Ben was last seen he was in a maroon vehicle with two other occupants. Weeks later police found his driver's license and social security card, on a different person. Police investigated that person, but found no evidence linking him to a crime. Ben's last paycheck remained at Hurd Millwork where he was employed as summer help, and his vehicle was parked where it was when he went missing. His Social Security card hasn't been used and his driver's license has not been renewed. There doesn't seem to be any reasons why Wilberding disappeared, no clues as to where he might be and no ideas if he just fled the country, or if foul play was involved. The article at right alleges that Arthur, Ben's brother, killed him and buried him under the RV/mobile home. It was searched and nothing was found. Unfortunately, Arthur has since died. Arthur was paroled 18 days before Ben disappeared. A family member claimed "Yeah that is what we think as well (re: Arthur murdering Ben) his other brother Jason used to be my stepdad, so I'm somewhat familiar with the details. We feel like Lincoln county bungled it from the jump." The location where Ben was staying was here: W7894 Hwy CC & W7564 Hwy CC. |

Wilde, Amber Lynn
Details of DisappearanceAmber L. Wilde was six months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. She had eight piercings in each ear. Amber was last seen in the evening at her residence in the vicinity of the 2000 block of August St. in Green Bay. Her 1988 Subaru GL was located, more than a week later, abandoned in a parking lot at a Green Bay sports bar, on the south side of Lombardi Access Road, near Lambeau Field in Green Bay with her purse and cell phone in the trunk and the keys in the ignition. The last person to drive the car was likely larger than Amber, because the seat was pushed back from the steering wheel. There are also some fingerprints that investigators have not been able to identify.
In 2016, authorities named Matthew John Schneider, the father of her unborn child, as a suspect in her case. From Charley Project: "Wilde had told her aunt and godmother that Schneider, whom she met at a party in May 1998, had denied paternity. He was engaged to marry another woman at the time Wilde's baby was conceived and he didn't want his fiancee to find out about her pregnancy. About a month before her disappearance, Wilde told Schneider's fiancee and his mother that she was pregnant with his child. According to entries in Wilde's diary, Schneider was furious after he found out she spoken to his fiancee, and he had pressured her to have an abortion, but she refused. He later told police he barely knew her and that they had never had sex, but his phone records showed they had had about sixty phone conversations back and forth, and Wilde's family said they saw each other for approximately four months. Police stated Schneider showed no apparent concern for Wilde's welfare after her disappearance. No one has been charged in Wilde's disappearance, but her case is being investigated as a homicide. One theory is that Schneider, a highway worker, buried her remains under Highway 29, which was under construction in 1998." Doe Network adds, "Police launched a massive search but turned up nothing. Police in 2001 drilled holes every 60-feet and used cadaver dogs along Highway 29 in Shawano County." |

Wolcott, Jack Alden
Details of DisappearanceWolcott was last seen at his mobile home on Sterling Avenue in Brockway on March 12, 1981. He was witnessed being driven from his home as a passenger in his own vehicle that evening. He was possibly accompanied by three adult males at the time. He has never been heard from again. Wolcott's vehicle, a gold 1976 Dodge Colt, was found back at his residence the next day. There was blood in the passenger seat, where Wolcott had been sitting. An extensive search turned up no indication of his whereabouts.
Not too fishy, right? Why do you never hear about any investigation into this? Was Jack involved in some stuff? ActionsEmailed Jackson Cty Sheriff re: retesting 10/28 |

Wyatt, Michael Matthew
Details of DisappearancePossibly near 47th ave & 128th street (Russell Road). Wyatt was last seen by his wife at their home in Pleasant Prairie on June 7, 2017, before he was supposed to go work for the day. He left his identification, cellular phone and keys behind. His vehicle was reportedly returned to his home by an unidentified individual. n November 2017, an extensive search was conducted in a nearby area of natural wildlife Michael had been known to frequent. A cadaver dog indicated a hit near a pond in that area and the body of water was subsequently drained. Unfortunately, no evidence was found. Michael committed identity theft and perhaps other crimes in his past. His family wonders if maybe that caught up to him somehow. |
