Victoria Prokopovitz was last seen at her residence on the [5100 block of Kunesh Road in Pittsfield](https://maps.app.goo.gl/96vzUNM7cSp28U6R9). She left behind her purse with all contents to include her ID as well as her cell phone. She has no known credit cards. She has no vehicle.

After obstructing the investigation and complaining about it, James Prokopovitz was discovered to have had a girlfriend Kathryn Friday while still married to Victoria. Friday pleaded no contest to perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury, and obstruction. In November of that year, just before her sentencing, Friday died by suicide. James was convicted of Victoria's murder and faces a sentence of life in prison. Charley Project tracks the case and developments beginning to end. The family would like to recover her remains, and James will not tell his family where she is - he still claims he is innocent. However multiple people, including James, had mentioned he had access to sludge piles which would dissolve a person.
