Plaisted, Kenneth
Details of DisappearanceKenneth Plaisted, a lawyer from New Holstein, went missing from the Milwaukee area on November 16, 1971. Kenneth had a business meeting in Milwaukee and planned to meet with his daughter around noon, and was supposed to pick his wife up from shopping later in the afternoon. Plaisted had a cup of coffee in a Plankinton Building diner with a friend of his then got up and left, saying he was going to get his daughter. He never arrived at her apartment. When the family looked at the car, the glove box was rummaged and open, the keys were gone and Kenneths hat was on the curb. Plaisted was embezzling from one of his clients but his family does not believe he'd abandon them to avoid prosecution. Another of Plaisted's clients escaped from prison that very day and some believe he took his revenge. He is a Navy veteran and has six children. He was declared legally dead in 1979. Polega, Carrie Ann
Details of DisappearancePolega was last seen by her husband at 12:30 p.m. on October 4, 2003, at her residence in the vicinity of the 7200 block of north Shady Lane in Porterfield, in a home directly on the Menominee River. She was reported missing by her employer over two weeks later, on October 21. Foul play is possible in Polega's case. Her husband was considered a possible suspect in her disappearance. The sheriff department conducted an extensive search of the Polega property and some surrounding areas on June 4 and 5, 2004. While Mrs. Polega was not found some guns were found in the residence and one in the trunk of Polega's car. He was charged with being a felon in possession of firearms. He has since died. Potential match submitted. ActionsNote: there is a typo in Carrie's NaMus file which says she went missing October 14. It was actually the 4th, the sheriff is aware and will change it. They fixed it 11/13. 11/12, Suggested UP11547 |

She left behind her purse with all contents to include her ID as well as her cell phone. She has no known credit cards. She has no vehicle.
