Last seen: May 6, 1963 From: Black River Falls, Jackson County Age: 47 years old DOB: 31 OCT 1915 Race: White Sex: Male Hair: strawberry blonde Eyes: Blue Parents: Carl & Matilde Olson Malchow |
Details of DisappearanceThe Banner-Journal, May 1963. Cannot link directly to it as it is in the library database: Malchow was down on the island beneath the Black River bridge... Malchow indicated he was thinking of "trying” the channel to see how swift the current was. Mr. Johnson is inclined to think Mr. Malchow may have drowned. There have been reports Malchow has been seen at the nearby IndianMission exit. Sheriff Julian Larkin said no one has been positive about it and the speculation is if he went there at all he would not remain there this Iength of time. Another report has been he was seen at Hank's Tavern in downtown Black River Falls. The tavern owner Mrs Lillie Haugen said Malchow has not been in her place. In all likelihood his remains could be found in the Black River. |

Marken, Mackenzie Rae
Details of DisappearanceThe last reported sighting of Mackenzie was on Oct. 16, 2015 near Mosinee's River Park and a short distance from the local high school property. Mackenzie Marken and her family moved to Weston in 2014 after living near Mosinee. She had run away from home twice before, but was found with friends both times. Mackenzie has not tried to contact anyone since fall 2015. Everest police have conducted dozens of interviews trying to find her but have had no success. The Help Mackenzie page offers a $1,000 reward.
No one has provided insight into why her Facebook Page has the account name "Cat Wolchesky." In my opinion, They need to get an expert to decrypt her messages so they can see who abducted her. If not possible, they need to get a lawyer or have the pd subpoena the encryption company. She linked her instagram to a very sad suicide song. |

Marquard, Junelle
Details of DisappearanceOn August 20, 1999, Junelle Marquard, in the company of Dayna Menger and Dayna's son Dakota Menger dropped one of Dayna's children off at a babysitter outside of the City of Nekoosa. On August 24,1999 it was reported to police that Dayna never returned to pick up her child from the babysitter. Police checked Dayna's residence finding nothing unusual. At the time of their disappearances, Junelle was living in Wisconsin Rapids. Both women were involved with drugs and had been estranged from their families as a result.
From Websleuths thread (I agree): "The Wisconsin River runs right next to Nekoosa - 3 people (which includes one child) all missing at the same time with no witnesses and no trace of them and no trace of the car that they were driving in - well, it's been my experience that in these cases the missing persons most likely went into the river. A number of roads run directly parallel to the river - and, the Wisconsin River can be quite deep." Action11/5/24 facebooked msg re checking river for car with map |

Martin, Sarah J.
Details of DisappearanceFrom the Article at right: "Rhiannon told Dateline she last spoke to Sarah on November 21, 2001 - the day before Thanksgiving. “We were just talking about different things we were doing for the holidays and preparation for Thanksgiving dinner,” she said. “We had pretty much spent the entire day together, and then I dropped her off at somebody’s house that wasn’t far from where she lived. She said, ‘I’ll walk home from here,’ which she did.” Rhiannon said she got a call the day after Thanksgiving from Sarah’s mother, Linsey Martin. She was wondering if Rhiannon knew where her daughter might be. “[Sarah] had apparently left the evening before, which would have been the night of Thanksgiving,” she recalled. “Sometime late at night, she had left and was picked up by an unknown individual and nobody ever saw or heard from her again.” On a forum I cannot locate right now, Rhiannon admitted Sarah had recently gotten into drugs and fallen in with the wrong people. |

Marzo, Becky Marie Kraemer
Details of DisappearanceOn the evening of December 12, 2003, 23-year-old Becky Marzo went out with friends to a local club in Milwaukee. The night of her disappearance, she had been at a bar called Conversations in the 3500 block of West Villard Avenue. While at the club, her phone kept ringing, and her boyfriend, Carl Rodgers III, was angry. He wanted her to come home, but Becky wanted to spend the night with her friends, so she turned off her phone. One of her friends asked if she wanted to go home, but Becky said she wanted to stay. When her friend dropped Becky off later that night at the home she shared with her boyfriend, 3100 Blk N. 5th St, no one knew they’d never see Becky again. Her boyfriend died in 2007. ActionsI sent a potential match September 2024 to both case owners: https://www.namus.gov/UnidentifiedPersons/Case#/12167?nav Submitted again to IL State Police through their main email. When she returned to Wisconsin and resumed dating Carl. Mazuchowski, Ruth Ellen
Details of DisappearanceMazuchowski was last seen leaving a friend's residence in Paddock Lake on the morning of March 25, 1997. She has never been seen or heard from again. She had left behind all of her clothing, jewelry, and other belongings at her residence in Camp Lake and did not claim two paychecks from her job. Two days before her disappearance, Mazuchowski had separated from her husband and had temporarily moved in with a male friend. Although there is no hard evidence of foul play in her case, it has not been ruled out. Her whereabouts remain unknown. Neither the friend, Mazuchowski’s husband, nor her son reported her missing to local law enforcement authorities. The husband stated he didn’t feel it was his responsibility because they were divorced. The three denied any knowledge of her whereabouts. She was reported as missing by her mother on May 19, 1997. |

Menger, Dayna
Details of DisappearanceDakota disappeared with his mother, Dayna Menger, and her friend, Junelle Marquard. They were last seen in Nekoosa when they dropped Dayna's four-year-old daughter off at the babysitter's home. The women left with Dakota, without saying where they were going or what they planned to do. When Dayna didn't return to pick up her daughter as scheduled, the babysitter wasn't initially concerned; it wasn't uncommon for Dayna to leave the child at the babysitter's house for days at a time. But she never returned.
Both women were involved with drugs and had been estranged from their families as a result. Dayna eventually lost parental rights to her daughter and she was adopted and now lives out of the state. Although they went missing in 1999, it wasn’t until 2004 that the police were informed when Dayna’s brother reported her missing. Foul play is a possibility in their disappearances. Dayna’s loved ones do not believe that she would have abandoned her children. ActionsAsk what kind of car |

Date of Last Contact: October 7, 1958 From: Princeton, Green Lake County Age: 33 Years DOB: 3 AUG 1925 Sex: Male Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Clothing: a blue Air Force shirt and Wrangler brand blue jeans. Maroon canvas shoes. Parents: Walter & Jessie Hall Metcalf Exclusions: 58 |
Details of DisappearanceThe Portage Daily Register, Fri, Jan 23, 1959, Page 4, stated Metcalf was from the Town of Brooklyn, near Green Lake, 8 miles east of Princeton. NOTE - THIS IS NOT THE CITY OF BROOKLYN IN DANE COUNTY.
Left home after speaking with his wife. He stated he was going to a local tavern for a few beers. He never returned. His Dodge pick up truck was seen the same night between 11p-12a in Oshkosh parked behind a building. Some articles reported he was deeply in debt (in fact, the farm was being sold at auction) and others said he had no such problems. The Websleuth's thread has all the articles.
The Green Lake sheriff Leo Bartol reported him missing to the newspaper but “didn’t know the details.” The local sheriff was in the middle of an election campaign and did not take a great interest in the case; he was defeated and the new sheriff had even less interest in the case, this could all be related to an underlying assumption that the authorities may have thought it was a simple domestic dispute. The family always thought there was other business going on. No finger prints were ever taken from the truck. Everyone knew that the parking brake on the truck didn't work and so it was never used. When the truck was found on a street in Oshkosh the parking brake had been set. The Green Lake sheriff got a tip that a part of the farm had been newly dug. But they were “too busy” to get to it. (Seriously, if someone did kill Max, they could have moved the body because of this warning). The "grave" was about a mile NW of the home, and interestingly, it had stones laid on top of it. It was by the roadside. They found nothing directly under it.
Max employed a hired man on his farm, Clarence Johnson. A few days before Max's disappearance he and Max had a very vocal argument, it is not clear what the topic was. Also just before Max's disappearance he had taken in a whole barn load of hay for the winter. The day after Max disappeared it was discovered that nearly all of the hay had been stolen, an entire barn's worth, only the front row was still there to make the barn look like it was full. Again, there may have been no follow up to this theft, however Clarence Johnson was arrested on 6 Feb 1959 for a theft at the Metcalf farm. If it was for stealing the hay, it is not clear. The auction ad also states that for sale were 60 ton baled hay, 225 bales of hay and 200 bales of straw. That's a lot of hay for it having all been stolen except for one row. Moe, Kaytlyn Nicole
Details of DisappearanceMoe was last seen getting into a black SUV outside her residence in Wilson on September 24, 2021. She has never been heard from again. Her family initially thought she had left of her own free will and weren't concerned, but they began to worry and reported her missing after she didn't get in touch. This one kills me. She was definitely in crisis and needed help. No known law enforcement contacts with her since September '21. No social media activity since September '21. Kaytlyn had MANY social media accounts and lots of activity on all of them - search for Kaytlyn Moe on Facebook and there's over 12. She appears to have a boyfriend that died a year before she went missing. She seems to struggle with depression/suicide according to her FB posts. I have determined her parents names and brothers names. And although there are Facebook posts even in 2024, there is no mention of her being missing. No photos, no mention of her period. There was one conversation about going to see a movie between her and one brother. ActionsEmailed 10/27/24, no response |

Mohn, Dawn Gardner
Details of DisappearanceMohn was last seen leaving a corn roast at Lenny's Tap on north Broadway in Green Bay at 2:00 a.m. on August 21, 2000. She was seen walking in the direction of her home, a few blocks away. She was very intoxicated and could not walk properly; she kept stumbling and losing her balance. Mohn never arrived home and has never been heard from again. The day after her disappearance, her empty wallet was found in the 400 block of north Broadway, near Lenny's Tap. Authorities do not believe Mohn accidentally fell in the river; her remains would probably have been recovered if she had. At the time of her disappearance, she had no job, car, driver's license, cash or credit cards. She was living with her boyfriend and he supported her financially. Mohn's sister says the couple had a troubled relationship and that they had a verbal and physical argument at Lenny's Tap a few days before her disappearance. The boyfriend is considered a person of interest in Mohn's case. Mohn's family stated she kept in close contact with them prior to her disappearance and they do not believe she would have left without telling anyone. She was last seen by two different people in the 100 block of Broadway and near a bank at 310 W Walnut St. Her residence at 305 S Monroe Avenue was one block from her boyfriend's residence at 305 S Quincy. Different newspaper accounts said she lived at both addresses. Personally I think they blew off the "fell or was thrown into the river" option way too easily. It should have been checked. |

Details of DisappearanceMojzis was last seen on December 20, 2003, while staying at a women's shelter in Beaver Dam. She left the shelter and has never been heard from again. Because it wasn't uncharacteristic of her to be out of touch with family for years at a time, she wasn't reported missing until 2014. The investigators know about the Cedar Rapids, IA lead and have said she isn't there now. |

It is unknown if Jon was given a ride by anyone. The comments on the Sheriff's post repeatedly refer to one person as the culprit of his disappearance. Morrison, Richard Wayne
Details of DisappearanceRichard was reported missing by his brother sometime around April of 1977. Richard may have been despondent over an injury lawsuit that involved several family members. Some speculation exists that he may have either faked his death and/or fled to a Spanish speaking country to start over. Vehicle was found burned out near Death Valley, California. ActionsI have found zero articles about a car burnt out in Death Valley. When did this happen? I've also not found the injury case that involved his family. These need to be followed up on. |

His last cell phone record was at 1:20 p.m. Amos both owed debts to and was owed debts by business associates. His business, unfortunately, was drugs. The police have a suspect, but not the body or evidence. |

Details of DisappearanceJoseph was last seen and spoke to several people on October 16, 2008. During these phone calls, he sounded disoriented and confused. His final phone call was to his mother, during which he expressed his love and apologized if he had hurt anyone. The call abruptly ended, and he has not been heard from since. A 10-day search was conducted near the Menards store in Pewaukee, WI. The search involved a dive team searching a pond, as well as the use of dogs, ATVs, and helicopters. Despite the extensive efforts, no trace of Joseph was found. He had a steady job at Kangaroo Brands Inc, he was a devoted father, and left behind a young child. He has friends in the North Carolina area. It is rumored that he had a heavy drug problem in the months leading up to his disappearance. |
