#### Details of Disappearance Wallace Lembke, formerly of W208 Main St, Delafield, was last seen at a tavern on [Wells Street in Milwaukee](https://maps.app.goo.gl/aQjB2L8Fp8S3S5DL9) in the Lower East Side neighborhood a few days before he was reported missing on Dec. 16, 1982. A night janitor at Templeton Middle School in Sussex, Lembke had phoned in sick on December 14 and did not report for work December 15. Family members reported him missing the next day. Police initially speculated that Wallace, who lived alone with his two dogs, left on an unannounced vacation. But when traces of his blood and bloodied eyeglasses were found in the trunk of his abandoned car in the parking lot of a Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge in Wauwatosa two weeks later, their attention turned to foul play. They found blood in the car (in the trunk) when it was located at the local Howard Johnson's, but didn't have a sample of Wallace's blood to compare it to. #### More Information [Doe Network](https://www.doenetwork.org/cases/software/mp-main.html?id=6342DMWI)
