Details of Disappearance

Marchelle Hansen was last seen leaving Marquip Inc. in Phillips at the end of her work shift there at approximately 20:00 on November 12, 1987.

She was reported missing five days later, when she failed to arrive for work at her part-time job at the local IGA store in Phillips. Hansen's vehicle was found parked at the Lake 10 Resort, approximately 11 miles south of Phillips. Lake Ten Resort or Tavern no longer exists. About 11 miles south of Phillips is now by the Public Boat Launch (If I am correst, off of 8). No signs of foul play were observed in the vehicle or at Hansen's residence, located north of Phillips on Highway 13. 

Taken from John Brylski's post, linked on the right, "I have previously stated I provided Price County Sheriff Office ... two locations ... I feel 100 % certain the location of- near lake 10 off Town Harmony off Lovers Rd, when coming to Lovers lane turn left staying right .3 mile later to the right to open patch of dirt downhill has not been searched... Shelly's vehicle was reported located [there]. I visited this area with a witness on July 2022 who pointed the area out telling me she and a friend were snowshoeing in the lake 10 area in the late 1990s and came to a road leading to the access road off Lovers LN – on this road toward lake 10 in sight was downward slope where they observed Frank who lived in the area on his 4 wheeler. Frank was riding up and down the road as they reached the top on the gravel access road of Lovers LN the witness asked Frank what you doing? Frank said I thought you were the Cops because you just walked over where she is buried!! ...Frank spoke to her a couple months earlier came to her home and said to her out of the blue Shelly was reburied as bears had dug her up."
