Details of Disappearance

Prior to his disappearance, Bilial had a criminal record, including convictions for theft, drug possession, and burglary. At the time, he was on parole. However, friends and family noted that he was trying to turn his life around; he had obtained his GED and enrolled at the Madison Media Institute to study music, where he had already produced a CD that sold hundreds of copies.

Bilial was last seen at his home on Poole Court in Beloit. On the morning of August 6, 2011, he ran errands with his mother, Lorrie Hammette. They had a heartfelt conversation, and Bilial expressed a desire to spend more time with her. He mentioned going fishing but was struggling to find friends who were interested. Later that day, a black vehicle picked him up after he called a friend for a ride, but the make and model of the vehicle are unknown. His friends did not recognize it, and this was the last confirmed sighting of him. His friends are devastated and produce music and podcasts in his honor.
