Details of Disappearance Police now believe that it is possible that Madeline may be a victim of human trafficking and that foul play may be involved. She did not take any belongings with her when she disappeared. Her home was located half a block from a laundromat, and the house was visible from there. Madeline left the laundromat to go home, while her mother was staying behind to finish laundry. That was the last time anyone saw her, to authorities’ knowledge. |
