Christoph was last seen by his family in ~~Madison, Wisconsin~~Madison on February 28, 2002. He apparently traveled to Portland, Oregon afterwards. He may still be on the West Coast of the United States, specifically Oregon or California.

Christoph is a U.S. Navy veteran and may have contacts with Veterans Affairs facilities.

Note: I did a deep dive and found his nine siblings. One died, 6 have Facebook accounts. Not a single repost of looking for John, no mention at all. Just a lot of political posts.
In their parents and the one sibling’s obit, he is listed but without a location. Nobody created a find me page, no reward, no interviews in the paper. Didn’t come up in the ss death index. Not in unclaimed bodies or property for Oregon or California.
