Details of Disappearance

Near Interstate 94 and County Road 74 in St. Cloud, Minnesota
is where she vanished. Boiteau has a history of drug abuse. Caution is advised when approaching her. Shannah was traveling with her boyfriend, Kyle, on a road trip. During an argument, Shannah reportedly jumped out of the car and ran into nearby woods along the highway. She left behind her purse and phone, making contact difficult.
Shannah had recently failed a breathalyzer and had relapsed. She was afraid she'd go to jail since she had been given so many chances before. A note left by Shannah before her disappearance said she had unresolved matters to deal with before going to jail. There are doubts about the account given by her boyfriend, Kyle. Shannah had filed domestic abuse charges against him, with a court date pending. (Note, I haven't seen this case).

Kyle’s story about where Shannah exited the vehicle has some inconsistencies, with him mentioning two different locations.

Despite extensive searches of the area where she was last seen, no evidence has been recovered-no personal belongings, clothing, or remains. Cadaver dogs and search teams have been deployed with no results. Shannah’s phone, left at home and wiped clean, contained contact numbers for her friend Amy and her ex-boyfriend, Sage, raising questions about her intentions before disappearing.
