Berg, Kayla
Details of DisappearanceKayla Berg was last seen on August 11, 2009. A male friend picked Kayla up at her father's house and drove around with her until between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. According to the friend's police statement, he then dropped Kayla off at her ex-boyfriend's house, which was located 40 minutes away from her home. He never watched Kayla enter the home, but he did remember it being dark inside the house and saw no one else around. Nonetheless, he drove off. Two months after her disappearance, authorities charged the male friend with 2nd degree reckless endangerment. The charges were later dismissed. In May 2011, “things of interest were found” on the male friend’s property, but there was no sign of Kayla. The "things of interest" have not been made public. They did a search in Kewaukee County after a prisoner provided information but they located nothing. I am not an expert on this case and much more could be learned from the links at right. |

Bertolas, Sandra
Details of DisappearanceLast seen in 1988 at Red Carpet Lanes in West Allis, Wisconsin (this is now the AMC off 100). She planned to confront her boyfriend after discovering he had been untruthful about his name and address and had been seeing someone else. Bertolas’s white car was found abandoned in the bowling alley's parking lot on April 27, but no clues were inside. Her boyfriend admitted to calling her on the day she disappeared, begging to see her. The boyfriend denied seeing her that night, gave minimal cooperation in the investigation, and claimed ignorance of her pregnancy. Dogs traced Bertolas’s scent to Mount Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee, where her boyfriend's father worked as a caretaker. A napkin found in Bertolas’s room had the cemetery’s address written on it. Police suspect foul play, likely involving her boyfriend. Despite a 2002 investigation that included over fifty witnesses, no indictments were made. Bertolas’s family believes she is deceased. |

His silver 2001 Chevrolet Impala was located at the location he was last seen. The vehicle had been left out of gas with the keys in the ignition and the doors open. The following Monday, the sheriff's department learned an endangered missing persons report had been filed in the state of New York for Andrew Bliss. In the following days multiple search and rescue teams conducted ground and aerial searches in the area, but nothing was revealed. |

Bly, Rose
Details of DisappearanceOn Friday August 21, 2009, Rose Marie Bly left her home in Sterling, Polk County, to travel to Cushing to meet with her cousin. (Some reports state she was meeting the cousin at a bar.) The distance from her home to Cushing was approximately 5 miles. She had told her husband, Christopher Larson, she had planned to meet her cousin and she left the home around 7:30 pm. Rose never met with her cousin and was reported missing on Saturday August 22, 2009. Her vehicle was found in Grantsburg on Wednesday August 26, 2009. It was parked in a municipal lot, in a parking lot typically used by truck drivers to park their tractor trailers. That area in Grantsburg was scoured for evidence and investigators went door-to-door, as well as using a helicopter to search the area near her rural home. Bly left behind a husband and two daughters under the age of two. She doesn't have any credit or debit cards, and she left home with very little money. Bly's husband filed for divorce three weeks after her disappearance. Their relationship was troubled and police were called to the home at least once to intervene in a domestic violence incident; Bly's husband accused her of slapping him, and she accused her of putting her in a headlock and banging her head on the ground. Bly's husband passed a polygraph but nobody has been ruled out by law enforcement as a suspect. His divorce petition was granted in 2010 and he has sole custody of their daughters. Bly fell off a horse a week before her disappearance. She told her mother she was having headaches after the accident and her mother advised her to see a doctor, but there's no evidence she ever did. Bly's mother speculated her daughter became disoriented due to her injury and wandered away. |

Breit Knauer, Francis August
Details of DisappearanceBreit was living in Eagle River when he disappeared. He had Social Security benefits that were automatically deposited in his bank account; the last activity on his account was in July 1990. His son reported him missing after months passed without contact. Breit reportedly had "very strange habits." His nicknames are Frank and Frankie, and he may use the last name Knauer or the name Frank August. The name Knauer was his biological father's name and Breit was his stepdad. |

So as you can see, Frank had to go pretty far north or south to reach hunting land. But if he was "following the birds" perhaps he was near one of the lakes. Either way, here's a map of what anyone searching would face.
Brody, Gerald
Details of DisappearanceBrody was last seen on a trail in the woods south of his residence, which was near State Highway 73 and south Young Street in Saratoga on April 13, 2017. He has never been heard from again and an extensive search of the area turned up no indication of his whereabouts. He has been known to drop out of sight from time to time, but never for this long. He apparently returned home at some point after he was reported missing and left a note, then left again. Authorities haven't stated what the note said. Brody didn't have a cellular phone. He used a bicycle for transportation his whole life, but the bike he usually rode was left behind at his residence. His residence was full of clutter, and he had no running water; he would bathe in a creek behind his house. Several guns were found in his residence; it's unclear whether any were missing. |

Details of DisappearanceNear Interstate 94 and County Road 74 in St. Cloud, Minnesota Kyle’s story about where Shannah exited the vehicle has some inconsistencies, with him mentioning two different locations. Despite extensive searches of the area where she was last seen, no evidence has been recovered-no personal belongings, clothing, or remains. Cadaver dogs and search teams have been deployed with no results. Shannah’s phone, left at home and wiped clean, contained contact numbers for her friend Amy and her ex-boyfriend, Sage, raising questions about her intentions before disappearing.
